Who are you?

I am Jasmine Brown, mom of two AWESOME children, Evian (17) and Willie III (15).  

What do you do?

I am the owner of DeLish Café

What's your favorite place to or event for celebrating the holidays downtown?

When celebrating the holidays downtown, I really enjoy the parade on Black Friday with all of the games and stations they have. I especially love the tree lighting. 

If you want to stand out at a holiday party, what do you do?

I wear a designer original by local designer L'Amour Ameer. His designs are always BEAUTIFUL! 

If you're going to splurge, where do you go?

If I am going to splurge downtown I go to two places. First, Brim for jewelry and hats. They have the most amazing selection. I wish I could buy everything in there. 

Second, I go to Beaute Box. I get my lashes and nails done, waxed on a consistent basis there and, if time permits, I can also get a really great facial. The service is top notch!

Where's your favorite spot to get gifts?

My favorite spot to get gifts would be all of downtown... I literally get cupcakes from Twist Cupcakery for my staff on almost a weekly basis. I go to Clash to buy different trinkets. I do ALL local gift certificates for the holidays. Amelia from Brim just told me about Luna last week  - couldn't leave empty handed. I think this will be one of my new favorite spots. I can't forget about Heart Mercantile. I can always find a great t-shirt or something in there as well!   

Where do you go for food or drinks if you're shopping all day?

When I'm shopping all day I usually end up at Roost. I LOVE Dana's cuisine and her drinks are great!!! I've brought so many non-downtown goers here and they absolutely love it as well!!!! If it's an early day I'll go to 3rd Perk. I don't drink a lot of coffee, but the dirty chais are great and I am in love with her chicken salad sandwich and, of course, I can always grab a bite to eat at DeLish. There's always something great on our menu!
