Where is your favorite place to go for dinner and drinks?

There are so many options! A downtown experience would be something like a day at the Dayton Art Institute, dinner at Huffy's BBQ which is on the west side, Riverscape to watch the sunset, walk the trails a bit, head to the Neon for a movie, Mudlick Taproom or Thai 9 for another meal, then walk down 5th to people-watch and window shop. We're waiting for a late night pizza-by-the-slice shop or a coffee and dessert spot to open somewhere on or near 5th. That would round out the night.

What are your favorite downtown retail shops?

Feathers gets our money all the time. Its always a pleasure to see what's "new" at that vintage spot.

What does your downtown routine or nightlife look like?

It varies depending on if it's just us or we have friends and family in town. We don't limit ourselves to all the possibilities a night has to offer. Our choice depends on the situation but for a good anytime meal we're heading to Lucky's. Their kitchen is open late and the food is always satisfying.

What's your favorite downtown event or place to celebrate special occasions?

This depends on the occasion and how many people we have with us. One family reunion weekend we brought a bunch of people to Salar. We filled the backroom and had a great time.
